Getting refunds from major OEMs (for Windows), who has done it? What the strategy?

I don't think you can do it, Hence all the complaints about "Windows tax".

Found this (http://www.linuxjournal.com/article/7040) on the Google, but never heard of anyone actually having any success in doing it. From what I've heard once you agree to the EULA, then you have no chance. So if you didn't do that, then go for it, and let us know what happens.
