I actually prefer the Podium because it has free wifi at the top floor.

kung galing po ng EDSA, puwede mag-MRT to ayala. tapos eexit lang po sa northbound side (opposite ng sm/glorietta). pagbaba ng hagdan, may kalye sa kanan (paikot ito palabas ng mckinley road)... sa kalyeng ito tumatambay ang mga bus papunta ng market market (fort bus po ang tawag dito). P10 lang ang pamasahe, hindi po kayo mawawala dahil market2x ang terminal nito :)

re: free wifi naman po, hindi ko sure kung meron sa market, pero sure ako na meron sa serendra at bonifacio high street... across market2x lang ito...

OT: baka puwede manghiram ng gutsy gibbon cd (sa mga taga taguig/makati/guadalupe area po)... hindi ko na kase mapigilan, gusto ko na install-an ng ubuntu itong laptop ko :) salamat!

Malabo ba? maganda siguro kung yung EB ay isabay sa isang computer event, tulad ng Internet Cafe Congress sa Megamall sa Marso. Siguradong maraming techy ang magpupunta doon at Internet cafe owners na may alam sa Ubuntu. At kung meron kayo contact baka puede mag lagay ng booth doon yung Ubuntu Phils. ipakita sa mga tao na kaya ng Ubuntu, pati sa gaming at mag sama sama din ang mga may internet cafe na may Ubuntu.

I do really hope that people here in forums are really willing to participate in events like this...

Most of us have brilliant ideas, but as i observe some, they much preferred to have their OB (Other Businesses), rather than focusing on an EB (Eye Ball). Well, this is just my observation, try yours.

Please stick to your mind that we have our objectives, and not just wi-fi connection, chicks, place (nearest), etc...

The purpose of an EB is for us to have a meeting, and at the same time , magkakila-kilala tayo (bonding)... That's it. No more, no less...

Johnaray, I think you have a very strong foundation when it comes to LEADERSHIP. Your posts are very good.

Think for the BODY, not just for your own selves... If we are lack of comradeship here, nothing will happen.

Im in, the body should decide now, for better!

Place: Market-market - Majority wins (poll) -DONE

Time: (Date/time) -NOT YET DONE

note: Don't jump to install fests, what to do, etc...
The reason why we're going to have an EB is for us to talk.
That's the right time to discuss things, our objectives.

Much better if we include, votation that time for us to have Leaders, who will lead for our objectives, body objectives... Let us respect those future leaders, people who are interested (present) in this EB will have the right to vote, and at the same time be qualified to run or to be nominated.

Mahirap talaga yan, puro plano pa at nagkakahiyaan dahil hindi pa nagkaka kita kita sa personal. Mukang matatagalan yan, kung yung Gutsy Release party na matagal ko na hinihintay ay baka Hardy release na.:) Kung tutuusin maganda doon gawin yung event at ipamigay yung mga CD. At kailangan din natin ng Leader o Rep na makapal ang mukha at ma boka, Out na ako doon. Kaya maganda isabay dito sa mga event ang EB para walang mag rereklamo sa time at location. Ako may EB o wala pupunta ako para may matutunan ako sa business ng konti, pero nalang kung hindi ito masabay sa ibang importanteng lakad ko.

Perbiu dude! na-meet ko na yung iba last FOSS Fiesta (last year).. yung Gutsy release party ok na sana.. na kay zak na mga cd's from shipit, ang problema lang nun yung time at date ata... sayang nga eh malamang nga Hardy release party na matutuloy yun. hehehehe. pero sana magkaroon ng rand EB para magkita kita rin yung mga old & new members/users.
