I'm currently using netjuke as my web jukebox and am quite happy with it but unfortunatly it has been merged with a competitor, Jinzora and development on netjuke itself has stoped.

I've just tried jinzora and found it to be no where near as good as netjuke. Track importing failed, the install script had bugs and the db structure is in no way normalised.

So... Can anyone recommend me an alternative php based jukebox? I want artist/album/genre browsing. Not too fused about playlists, good design, nice interface.

Thanks

Ampache seems to be the one for me.

Good front end, nice database structure (sounds geeky but from good db design generally you can generally assume good coding), loads of features and an active development team.

The only hard bit will be weaning the girlfriend off Netjuke and on to the new one. She is bound to moan regardless of how good it is!
