First you should have posted this in the 'Development & Programming' section of the website.

If you have no idea what c++ is about then I would suggest any beginners C++ book to start. If you want an online tutorial that maybe this side of decent maybe you should try here (http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/) or here (http://www.functionx.com/cpp/index.htm). The second one will have the tutorials on the left.

If you already have a grasp on c++ and just want to take it to the next step I would suggest using 'C++ GUI Programming with Qt 4'. It teaches you how to use Qt4 to not only create GUIs, but they will be cross platform compatible. I would suggest first having a grasp on C++ first though. There are alot of fundamentals that you will need to know first.

I hope this helps.
