In your opinion which are the worst default applications on Ubuntu and why they suck?

F-Spot. I don't like it because of how it feels when compared to DigKam or gThumb. It just seems harder to use, and the browser pane feels cluttered until you tag everything. I always kick it out and use gThumb or DigiKam.

Definitely Open Office. It's the first thing I uninstall. Any application that requires a splash screen just to write some text simply isn't getting it done for me.

I don't use F-Spot, but on a mac, I don't think I'd use iPhoto either.
Honestly, I've never really tried it.

But on every ubuntu install I always end up using xine-ui or vlc. I don't know why Ubuntu even bothers with totem.

I voted Evolution, but I would say I do so uninformed, as I'm a Thunderbird fanatic and elected to use it over Evo every single time.

Open Source Developers: You suck. You make crap programs.Have you ever thought that instead, you could try and make a contribution to squash bugs and implement features? Even if you aren't a coder, there are many many opportunities.
