After asking endless times to perl programmers what the wonders of perl purposely are, I decided to find the answers myself and learn perl.

So far is very strait forward, sort of similar to php i would say.

I went through the hello world, played around with all the datastructures, control flow structures, and a few other cool perl features.

Now it's time to code my first small yet real application.
I thought about a HTTP header dumper. Like, as i browse the web using my browser a command line tool would print out the HTTP requests made by my machine along with the destination ip.

How do i access to this kind of stuff in real time using perl?
