i would like to get a group together ...
i am a custodian at a local church in town
and i was wondering how to get a group together and start meeting
i am on the board of trustees and will ask at the next meeting
if it would be possible to use the hall for a linux/ubuntu forum

if this is a good idea ...please let me know

I did a quick search on Google Maps, unfortunately you're quite literally on the other side of the state for me (while you're beside Cincinatti, I'm near Youngstown).

I would still like to see a get together happen though :popcorn:

Just wanted to say, if you're still interested in a group gathering you should try to also send an email over the mailing list and also visit the IRC on days known to have plenty of people in (usually on Wednesdays), since unfortunately the forums are last when it comes to team communication.

Which is ironic, because it's how I found out about the team ;)

i just thought it would be a good idea ... and well i am the custodian of the church and have permission to use the hall ...
get some newbies and trade ideas ...
