I'm making a mini article series about KDE 4, talking about new features, applications and improvements.

I first posted a thread (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=630990), but in this one I'll post updates for them. I'm open to suggestions and help, constructive criticism and feedback is always welcome.

Articles:

Dolphin (http://introducingkde4.blogspot.com/2007/12/dolphin.html)
Okular (http://introducingkde4.blogspot.com/2007/12/okular.html)
Gwenview (http://introducingkde4.blogspot.com/2007/12/gwenview.html)

I hope you like them :)

There seems to be a lot of wasted space on the okular gui. Esp that side bar with huge buttons.

This is shaping up to be a nice series - thanks for spending time on it!

And the side bar's "huge buttons" are shrinkable, or you can hide the sidebar altogether.

Yes, you can hide all the sidebar, but you can't change it's size.

No, it have been removed I guess. I didn't think about it before.

Of course, as always you can submit (http://bugs.kde.org/wizard.cgi) your wish.

I suppose it will be added to the final version. It's just the fastest way to browse through directories.
