Marvel has raised $525 million to independently finance 10 movies based on its comics over seven years. The titles named are Captain America, The Avengers, Nick Fury, Black Panther, Ant-Man, Cloak & Dagger, Dr. Strange, Hawkeye, Power Pack and Shang-Chi. The company's also changing its name from Marvel Enterprises to Marvel Entertainment.

Capn America - no question, Ill be there.
Nick Fury - As long as its better than the David Hasselhoff TV movie.
Black Panther , Ant-man - Hmmmm...yep.
Cloak & Dagger - Yep.
Dr. Strange - Not a fan.
Hawkeye , PowerPack - No doubt...Im there.

That's right. S.H.I.E.L.D. operates out of a giant, hovering aircraft that continuously emits moisture to produce a cloud cover.

I'd pay to see a movie version of Nick Fury (the guy with the eyepatch), Dr. Strange, Captain America or Power Pack, but the others don't appeal to me as a big screen adaptation, even though I've enjoyed them all in comics.

***EDIT***
Oh yeah-- S.H.I.E.L.D. stands for "Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logistics Directorate"

Wanna see something really scary?

How about the made-for-tv-movie starring David Hasselhoff as Nick Fury...

***EDIT***
Sorry-- Just noticed KingBahamut already noted this in the original post. I gotta learn to pay better attention!

Hail to the King, baby! :)

Capt America, Nick Fury, The Avengers and Cloak & Dagger; very nice. But agreed, let's not have another David Hasslehoff fiasco (or Ben Affleck for that matter), I don't think my mind can take that kind of thing again.

Why not, in grand Marvel tradition, have a big team-up movie with all the Avengers?

I'd be SO up for that.

AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!
