What is wrong with Gaim, Kopete and others more active and far powerful clients?

lol..you are a lil late dude...amsn has been arnd for a while and most of the guys know abt it....appretiate the info though.i like the fact that as a begginer you are trying to share what you found out...-welcome to ubuntu dude...you will fit right in ;)
PS- as specified above by bored2k..i would suggest gaim or kopete..they are pretty stable and do the job without any hassles.

the good thing about amsn 0.95b is that u can receive and send your webcam images. word is that u can even configure linphone to have voice conf on amsn but am not sure its msn compatible. have tested the webcam thingie though. it works :)

Well thatīs good. Last time I gave amsn a shot.. it was not sexy at all.

yeah the tcl interface is not pretty at all... maybe someone otta take interest in this project and come out with a gtk2 port.
