NWA-LUG Organization is key, no?

I'm thinking it would be nice to have a North West Arkansas Linux User's Group. I have been immersing myself in Linux for a while now and have become moderately adept with it. I like to occasionally feel productive, however, so I think it's time to get organized

Those of you in the NWA region who are interested in meeting to discuss common interests, goals, or just would like to give and/or receive help with Linux, shoot me an e-mail or reply to me here. My e-mail is drate.otin@gmail.com .

If I see we have enough interest I'll go through the motions of making us an official LUG.

There is/was a NWALUG @ http://www.nwalug.org/ . There's not much information there, and the WHOIS info is vague.

I usually try to keep a list of Arkansas LUGs at http://www.arlug.org.

Actually, it seems to be inactive. The only two links there goto 404's. Which brings me back to ME! :) So anybody up for an ACTIVE nwa lug? Can we do that?

Yes, we can do that. I am very interested in oiling up the old NWALUG gears and starting fresh with a Hardy Heron release.
