I'm not sure that this is the right place for this type of question, but no other seemed right either so here we go.
If you upload a screenshot "1280x1040" to the forum gallery using a .png file, the downscaled middle image gets somewhat broken and doesn't displat colors the right way, with a .jpg file this seems not to happen (at least not for me), For me this is the only gallery that doesn't support .png files the right way and I think that should be corrected. .png files feels more right to me and probaly are :) /// Freddan
