View Full Version : Would want to share my progress

Hey guys

Would just want to share my progress with setting up Ubuntu in a small - medium enterprise setting. I've blogged it in my multiply page (http://inque54.multiply.com/tag/ubuntu) and sorry for the very "amateurish" presentation, but the main purpose of my documentation was for me to use and if possible to my friends who are planning to make the switch also.

Just some background, I handle the IT work of our family business and currently, I have converted our main file server and my workstation (just recently) to Ubuntu.

I'm open to suggestions on configurations and to whatever you guys want to add since this is really a learning process for me.

Hi. I have no suggestions and configurations. But I just wanted so say that it's good you're documenting your set-up. Will be visiting your blog shortly to hopefully get some pointers. :)

Anyway, I just started a sort-of documentation on my own set-up as well. I hope it's alright if I share it in this thread also:

It's in called The Memphis Report (http://www.abcruz.com/index.php?args=Journal/Work_Logs/The_Memphis_Report/), which you will find in my personal journal. Thre are also references on other things in the Development Works & Experiments section of the website (http://www.abcruz.com).
