I decided to run gparted from the terminal while on the LIVE CD, and it came up with this:

Yes, because Saddam tried to install Ubuntu on Bush's hard drive and 'accidentally' wiped his hard drive clean with Gparted :)

Or so I am told :P

i once cancelled Gparted while it was repartitioning for an ubuntu server install because i thought it was taking too long :| i ended up losing my Arch install that i'd spent the last 2 days setting up lol

but, i suppose that wasn't Gparted fault!

I got this funny message trying to run gparted from the terminal without putting sudo before it.

Also if u try and run s2disk from konsole without typing sudo u get an error like what kind of ninja mutant machine is this?

here ;). It really is a weapon: hit delete partition, apply, then you can't undo :).
