I am so giddy. I just bought a Pleomax 5GB HardDrive that is made by Samsung and guess what the box shows?


OS Compatibility:
Windows (All flavors)
MacOS 9.0 or higher

and....
drum roll...
...


Linux 2.4.0 or higher

I think this is the first in store purchase of ANYTHING that explicitly states that it works with Linux. I am emailing them right now!!!

Yeah, i should have written out all the versions of Windows that it shows on the box (I was lazy!)
And for the cnet reviews, the ones that I found were 2 years old. I just transferred a DVD iso image from one computer to the other using it and I just copied some photos to it. So far it is holding up.
