Hi folks,

Just to report a progress of my site growth.

3 months ago I've opened a site dedicated to Linux widgets and libraries. It's located here : http://www.stosha.net/ .
Something like http://www.torry.net/ for Linux environments.

Site currently hosts or links to around 350 libraries, widgets, tutorials, books and articles, all of them related to Linux or general programming.

You can find components for Qt , GTK+ and general libraries for C++ , Java , Pyhton and PHP there. General libraries must either be cross-platform or Linux/Posix compliant.

I do most of my programming in C++ , and hence, most of the libraries which I've collected are written for that language. Java has a lot less libraries, but at least, those are all the good ones.

Since I've never touched Python in my entire life, that whole section is almost empty, and I would really appreciate a contribution in that area.

I would really appreciate your opinions, suggestions comments and contributions.

Thanks in advance

Ooops

This is the second time I've been warned for misspelling that word .
It seem I have had changed the title on wrong piece of code :) .
I suppose it's fixed now.
Anything related more to the Linux programming and less to good English spelling (or lack of it :) )?

How hard is to navigate the site ? Can you find something useful? What would you like to see on this site, and it's not present? Can you give me some links for some good and useful libraries ? ( If someone puts SourceForge or FreshMeat, I'll kill him or her :) ). Do you have some library to contribute?

How about link to some good online book? I can always use that.
I'm restricted to C++ and Java, AI , DataMining ( my job ) and racing games ( my hobie ).

I would really use some link toward other areas of computing, especially considering books on Linux programming ( since there is only one which I know of ).

Thanks in advance

I didn't find anything useful to me, and it was a confusing layout, but I really wasn't looking for anything in particular.

See my wiki for books and other references.

I think it should be good incluye the links to the pages, not only the downloads (from what I remember, you only put the downloads...)

Well, sometimes page doesn't exist, and some other times it's very hard to find the author's web-page, or I simply don't know one :) .
Otherwise, I always put whatever I have.
On some pages you can even find Links to several thins like RPMs , DEB's , download page, Tarballs etc.

I can always use help with those things.

Cheers
