Magpie RSS and facebook

I've followed the tutorial at http://www.howtoforge.com/rss_facebook_app_php, but I am still getting an error with the foreach in index.php. The app works with some RSS feeds and not others. Does anybody have any experience with Magpie RSS or writing facebook apps. This has become incredibly frustrating!
