text unreadable

I would like to install ubuntu on my Samsung Q1b as it is so flaky with windows, I downloaded ubuntu and kubuntu and tried both using live cd and the text is mostly unreadable in both. I cannot find a setting to correct. any ideas would be appreciated jim_joh

I'm trying to install q1b too and I have same problems with font.
I found video card is not known to X11 and then Gnome works using vesa driver.

I wrote to openchrome.net to ask about chipset of CX700M2 (video card of Q1B) but I haven't still answer.

Had you some reply to help you?
