Hi all,
Please visit
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=612364
we need your help.

This thread is for an issue related to the educational project mentioned above. I'm quite far from the school where we started the project and can not be frequent visitor there. I'm planning to get internet connection there at school and use video conferencing for daily interactions. I wish to know:

(1) What will be the hardware needs?
(2) Please suggest least costly alternatives.
(3) The hardwares suggested should be compatible with ubuntu 7.04 since the same versions are installed in school computers and my PC. This is important since I have an old webcam which functions in windows but does not function with any linux variant.
(4) Any other cheaper alternative apart from video conferencing like voice which can work with least expensive hardwares. We are using PIII 450 to PIII 800 MHz computers.
(5) Will PII or celeron 400 MHZ computers be able to serve the purpose?

Thanks in advance,

girijesh
