Am planning on buying a PDA this year and was wondering what to get so it will "talk" to my 7.10 desktop. I'm at present using a verizon cell phone and would like to stay with this carrier if possible. I'll want to have gps and e-mail and be able to transfer some documents and spread-sheets from OOo to the PDA. Anyone have any suggestioos as to wich brands to look at and which ones to avoid? Thanx

No suggestions as to which to buy, that would depend on your price range and what you really want/need/can afford. Are you looking at a PDA/Cell phone combination?

Are you going to use Evolution or JPilot to sync your device?

As for OO files, you'll probably have to have them as MS Office type files, and then DocsToGo will read them.

Check out: PDA Device List (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PDADeviceList?highlight=%28PDA%29), it will give you an idea where to start and: PDATeam/Hardware (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PDATeam/Hardware?highlight=%28PDA%29)
