If you're anything like me, and respond better to visual stuff, then this website (http://www.homepagestartup.com) might be a nice one to set as home.
It is pretty minimalist at this point (one of its attractions for me), but ad-free, and free free (of cost) with the simple aim of providing you with a page of thumbnails of the websites you frequent. It doesn't require any extensions, is sharable, and can utilize tabs. Simple as that. Thought some of you might like it.
