Just wanted to say Hi out there! I see that there isn't alot of activity on the VA Team. I just joined on the launchpad site a little while ago. Just wanted to say hi and talk about my Openfire server. Me and my brother have built an Ubuntu server. We have a blog setup with Drupal right now and we are trying to figure out what we want to develop on the server. If you have any ideas I'd like to hear them.

If you don't know what openfire is well in a nut shell its a IM server. It's actually more then that. If can also intigrate with VoIP. But anyway, I have the server up and running and extending an open invite to anyone that would like to join in. All you need to so download the Spark client. Once you have it installed you can create an account from the actual client. Just open up spark and click on "Accounts", then just fill it in with a username and password and for server it is http://apocblade.thruhere.net. Then just click "Create Account" and you should be able to login. Great thing about Openfire and Spark is that it's not limited to just Openfire. You can log into your AIM, irc, Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger, SIMPLE, GTALK and GaduGadu accounts as well. Feel free to sign up and if requested I will start adding groups on it so maybe I can create an VA group for everyone. Let me know if you have any questions or problems.

****EDIT: If you go to the blog at http://apocblade.thruhere.net you can find the direct links to the Spark clients. I put all of them down. They have a client for Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows.
