Hi all;

I am trying to install XP in a virtual machine of virtualbox but i am experiencing a problem.
I launched my virtual machine and I put Windows XP CD in the CD reader.
I am at the beginning in the "blue menu".
Everything works fine until the point where I have to press F8 to confirm the end user license.

I can press F8 as much as I want, nothing is happening.
It seems all button between F1 and F12 are not sent to the virtual machine.
So it is still blocked on the blue menu.

Does anybody know what to do? :confused:

Thanks !!

does the VM have input controls? Before it will accept any keypresses or mouseclicks you will have to click inside the window.

At this point whatever you do on your keyboard or mouse should go through to yor VM--including F[1-12] keys. Also, if your keyboard is like mine you might have to enable the Function keys by pressing a Function Lock key (name will vary) which is similar to a Num Lock
