Which graphics card is better?

I have recently recived an old computer for a family member. I have my old computer, but it doesn't work very well..it has a ProSavage card in it. The computer I got has an ATI 3D Rage Pro. Which of them will perform better?

These days they're both equally bad, it's not really worth noting any difference between them, why are you running a card from almost 10 years ago?

Well they are both very old computers. The best graphics card I have is an ATI X300, but a Nvidia card would be so much better. It was bought before I found out about Linux though :(

EDIT: By the way, they are both second hand, one which is labeled windows 98 compatible and the other is slightly more modern...

Aside from what D-EJ915 said, I would say the ATi card is probably faster. I don't know much about the prosavage card, but they appear to be mostly low-performance integrated chipsets.
