Hello,
Just want to impress people I know how linux involves in our life. Better be something unexpected and brand name and not to techinical or scientific. For example, car GPS or Blender machine.
Please join if you have some idea.

The game systems at Buffalo Wild Wings use Linux. I know because my girlfriend accidently power-cycled one while we were using it. :mad:

On a related note, those things will retain your credits if they're powered off. :D

linuxsucks.org servers run linux - no seriously they do (or at least the used to, and Im assuming they still do)

- I 've seen it on computers (those that show the next stops) in buses,

- many banks use it on their ATM cash machine

- like 80% of all supercomputers in the top-500 list

HERMES III, the biggest pulsed gamma-radiation source in the world, located at Sandia National Labs, runs on Linux, I'm pretty sure. I worked there last summer, and every terminal I saw was running SUSE.

My friend also told me that Wii runs on Linux.
