I'm working with a program that creates 3D geometry in .ply format. I am giving these files to a coworker who requires .igs (IGES) format. Both formats are ascii, so I am just writing a script to convert between the two; however, I would like to test my results to see if my final IGES file is accurate. Does anyone know of a simple viewer that will read an IGES file and display it onscreen?

I just found gCAD3D, which seems to do the trick for me.

Check it out. Maybe it will work for you, too.
