Anyone else have trouble using the Fridge site with Internet Explorer - sorry guys but at work I have no choice :(

I'm using IE6, and all I get is the white 'fridge' background - I think the actual content is somehow being shown behind it

Any ideas (OK, other than NOT using IE)

I don't think there's much you can do besides switch browsers. just ask you boss if you can install firefox or something

Use Ctrl + A to select all, copy, and paste it into word, notepad, wordpad, etc. Read it there.

Thanks for the suggestion ... I'll give it a try. I like it - Simple and (hopefully) effective.

Hmm. I just fired up MSIE6 in Virtualbox, and I see what you're talking about. Anyway, two suggestions:

1) Install Firefox Portable (http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable) on a flash drive and use that for your html standards needs.

2) E-mail the Fridge staff (http://fridge.ubuntu.com/about). After all, Ubuntu is trying to compete with Windows, so I very much doubt that they would be happy that the main news page is causing problems for IE.

Pfft. You act like that's why they call it work.
