How many spam messages do you get in your Gmail everyday?

I get at least five new spam messages each day in my Gmail accounts. Why are there so many spams? Is there a way to get rid of all these spam?

i don't really use email, except for subscription services. Outside of work i have no need for email.

at least 15 or 20 a day. luckily most are trapped by gmail's spam filter. more and more are getting through though.

I've never gotten spam with Gmail before. On my old Yahoo account I'd get sometimes 100s a day and only about half were actually in the spam folder

I get 20-25 a day but I get maybe one a month that gets through the filters and ends up in my inbox.

Piles, and they all appear in my spam folder. It has never been wrong (in all the times I have checked), and I have only had a spam make it to my inbox once.

One of my accounts: 20-25, the other one about 35+. Ever since gmail opened up to everyone I've been receiving more and more spam. I used not receive more than 5 or so a week on either account

Now, my yahoo account....Since Friday till just about an hour ago, I had 844 spammies. So average 200 or so a day in that account

I get about 10, but most are just forwarded from my Yahoo account. I forward all mail, just in case something gets marked as spam by mistake.

I haven't gotten any in my gmail account, but I've only had it for a couple of months. My yahoo account that I used to have was getting 20 or 30 a day, which only started to get annoying as more and more started slipping through the filter into the inbox.

maybe 5 a day in the spam inbox, not MY inbox. maybe some of you should try not using your account for random websites or posting it on internet forums where they can be harvested. also, you know some of those fwd'd emails from your buddies? do you know everyone that's listed as recipients? thought not.

About 3 a month. I only give out my gmail address to family and friends. Now my e-mail address through my ISP gets 15 to 20 a day, but their spam filters catch almost all of them.

anywhere from 3-20 per day, averaging slightly below 10. 99.3% are blocked by the spam filter though.

EDIT: but I have about 10 different accounts funneled into this one, which likely increases the number dramatically.

I get thousands a day, over 100 in the past hour, all in my spam folder though, and maybe 1 a week gets through to my inbox. But i do use it to sign up for every thing so i can use a more professional for business and not get mixed up.

In the past few years spam is close to zero. I don't post my email publicly, I insist that anyone using windows NOT add my address to their outlook contact lists, and a few other such things. I have the same yahoo account for over 5 years.
My yahoo bulk folder generally catches emails regarding password confirmations and message digests - - both errors.
BTW, wehn I worked in a different environment that posted email addresses on the web, the spam numbered inthe hundreds per day.

I am getting more than 30 per day. Most of them are about ****** and ***** growth etc :lolflag:

On the contrary my hotmail account gets 1-2 spam per week, and I have it since 1999.
