I just discovered this very interesting project while surfing on the Globulation 2 (http://www.globulation2.org/wiki/Main_Page) website:

Maybe some of you already heard about the Ubuntu (http://www.ubuntu.com/community/developerzone/bounties) bounties (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bounties), but this site was new to me. :)

I think launchpad should implement something like that.
People who lack programming expertise or time but are interested in FOSS development will be able to contribute financially.
