Is there any software that I can use in Ubuntu to create UML diagrams?

There BOUML, which you can get under Add/Remove. Never used it, so can't say anything about it

Some search results. I've been looking for an UML editor myself but not really gotten into one. Tried Dia and it was okay I guess, but I wasn't convinced. Gaphor (http://gaphor.devjavu.com/wiki/Screenshots) looks interesting.

I just tried 3 quickly this morning: Gaphor, Umbrello, BOUML. All available from the Ubuntu Software Centre. Although Gaphor looks fancy and stuff I haven't figured out how to do anything worth doing it. I recommend BOUML. It might seem a bit clunky but so far it has all the things I need and works well.

I also recommend DIA. I have used Umbrello for generating class diagrams from c++ code, which worked very well, but haven't used it for much else.
