apt:mancala
For tons of fun the mancala game is a classic, especially when played in the terminal or konsole.
Please list any other cool terminal games here.

I've always liked zangband (in the repo's). It is yet another moria/angband clone with some additional options.

Are they called 'Terminal' because they are so dangerous?

A terminal game is one that runs in the command line and uses text instead of graphics.

ninvaders (apt:ninvaders) - Space Invaders clone
Those are both in Slitaz Linux. I've used them, but didn't like them. Bastet unfortunately does exactly what it's supposed to and thus is no fun. Ninvaders is simply too hard.

Don't forget the Grandad of all RTS: Empire! (http://www.classicempire.com/)
If you plan to play, plan to spend some quality time with the manual. Still, it's great fun (If you're into that sort of thing). :KS
sudo apt-get install empire

You think that's funny until you realize there are text versions of Quake (http://webpages.mr.net/bobz/ttyquake/) and Unreal Tournament (http://icculus.org/~chunky/ut/aaut/) (probably others).
Actually, it's still pretty funny.
