A terminal game is one that runs in the command line and uses text instead of graphics.

it is difficult to remember all the keys, but you can always type "?" in the game for help

bastet (apt:bastet) - Tetris clone that doesn't give you the piece you want
ninvaders (apt:ninvaders) - Space Invaders clone

Those are both in Slitaz Linux. I've used them, but didn't like them. Bastet unfortunately does exactly what it's supposed to and thus is no fun. Ninvaders is simply too hard.
