Experimenting is a good idea and also a good source of experience. What interests me most is the extent of what I can do in Linux, but that's just me:).

I play counterstrike quite a lot, so i setup my fresh 7.10 install as a gameserver, it also acts as the router for all my internet traffic in the house.

I also setup samba and am using the box to share files accross my network (also as a by-product - its keeping a backup for me)

I love the fact the system is so stable :)

How about removing your animated smiley signature? Ubuntu is great for removing animated smiley signatures!
