I can be the main star....Duck Deggler, or John Hulmes, or Geoff Striker.

That has a kinky sound to it.

What is the penalty for openly requesting illegal material in an open public forum.

I mean, there has to be some ramification. What would the MIAA think of us?

There's a new flic called "You Be Banned" starring bLaCk MamBa. It's a tragi-comedy. It should be coming to a cinema near you real soon.

http://imdb.com/title/tt0373908/ - The Honeymooners with a shocking 1.9 out of 10.

Well, you are just being too harsh. Maybe he/she doesn't know where you can buy such stuff.

In no order of preference: walmart, bestbuy, circuitcity, newegg.

c'mon folks. there's always Public Domain (remember that?!)

again, let me plug the bejeezus out of archive.org, which is quickly becoming my favorite destination (other than these fora)

All right then, let's let bLaCk MamBa speak up and see if it's just a misunderstanding.

I agree, some of the posts are too harsh for the info provided. I read it as a request for suggestions of good movies (to which I answer, anything with Christopher Walken :)). I don't see anything that definitively indicates illegal intent in the original post...:???:

=)

"Fora" is the plural of "forum."

OT rant: I really hate how Latin gets butchered by techies. I'm a historian/classicist by training, and speak that language with reasonable fluency. some pet peeves:

"data" used as a singular. (it's the plural of "datum," literally "something given.")

"virii". "virus," meaning "slime, stench, poison" is one of those bizarre irregulars in Latin. lexicographers have not agreed on any plural forms for this as (amusingly) it has never appeared in the plural form in the literature until recently. Some believe it to be a 4th-declension noun, and thus does not change singular to plural in the nominative and accusative cases (cf. "senatus") . virii would be the plural of a nonexistent word "virius.' "viri" is the plural of "vir," meaning "man," and thus totally wrong.

1. Dune
It seems that we have another Frank Herbert fan in here. Sorry to say I was a little dissapointed when that movie arrived (what about those soundguns? why not just use a recorded sample instead of their own voice and they had nothing to do with the acutal book) the 2 miniseries of the first 2 books was a little more true to the books but they had not enough cash to make it totally realistic (waiting for the combo between the movie and the series :))

The adventure game for the Amiga was one of the first rpg/adventure games I completed and Dune2 was the first rts I played, didn't finish it though :)

I heard that another action/adventure/rpg game was under construction but that was a couple of years ago but sadly I haven't heard anything about it since.

Sorry for the threadcrashing, won't happen again.

Can sites such as CinemaNow or Movielink be made to work with Ubuntu? possibly with a firefox extension? I recently made the move to Ubuntu 5.10 and this is one of the things I am missing at the moment... it's nice to be able to download a movie to the laptop for later viewing... while travelling, etc.. however both of these sites SUCK (for not working with firefox) .. Any suggestions?
