Wow, I haven't been here in a while. Nice to see that the online list takes up more room than anything else on the page :)

Anyway, I came across a couple of pieces of software, called SiteKiosk and XCLASS.

SiteKiosk does exactly what I want, but it's not cheap and it doesn't run on linux. I'm looking for something similar that does. Here's the link: http://www.sitekiosk.com/SiteKiosk/Default.aspx

I know it could be done with permissions in linux, but if a similar app does exist I'd like to try it.

I don't really need XCLASS for a classroom, it's more a remote control/monitoring feature I'm looking for, just between two or three comps.

If anyone knows of anything along the lines of those, please let me know.

Thanks in advance :)

There's kiosk (http://www.rpath.org/rbuilder/project/kiosk/) and webconverger (http://webconverger.com/) too.

lol, well I still haven't recovered from the trauma of my last KDE experience, so looks like I'll try Kiosk. :)

Thanks guys.
