well I waited a lot for gutsy, but it made me miss feisty.

First I wasn't able to have compiz-fusion work as in feisty did (even if now it still doesnt work with emerald, please tell me why )

Printers were recognized automatically without adding them manually, but they don't print in gutsy!!! omg!!!

after that network worked so bad that I used to work by ethernet

and after a week my xubuntu laptop 7.10 and my brother's one ( still xubuntu gutsy) stopped to work, and than failed to boot again.

awesome

so I took back to feisty downloading it at 6 kb/s

now I feel fine, but the question is... when do I will be sure to be able to upgrade to gutsy witohut these problems?

:confused::confused::confused:

I'm tempted to move back to Feisty as well. My onboard sound quit working. Good thing I have a second sound card in my PC, but the onboard sound has some really nice features. It also seems that my random freezing problem still exists in Gutsy.

Yeah emerald is fine for me also. The thing is there isn't emerald-themes I think it is, so I had to download the feisty version, but that worked fine. I have Gutsy working with XGL fine also.
