View Full Version : Linux Terminal on a USB stick?

Any ideas how to do this? Just a bootable linux terminal, on a USB stick? No GUI or anything?

Googled for a bit, most of the stuff I can find is how to make your USB stick work in terminal, not your terminal work in a USB stick. :)

Get puppy or DSL on it, then change it around so it boots to bash? It'll have a GUI still, but you won't need to use it

TTY Linux is the best for this. It's all in about 5MB.

Thanks to all, especially init1, ttylinux is just what I was after.
