Isn't ubuntu something to do with all people?

I'm from Manchester, but now reside in glorious Stoke on Trent in Staffordshire.

There seems to be a concentration of Ubuntu fans in England, according to the map linked to above, and a cluster of Kubuntu users around Glasgow!

I'm a bit jealous of all the Europeans on here who are flitting from one country to another. Living on an island is a bit rubbish; you have to pay muppets like Ryan Air to get off it! I'd like to move to Berlin.

No one likes the English :(

Guess where I flit most to? The UK. Because my wife and I like the English (as well as the other aborigines on your lovely islands). They are very friendly. Unfortunately, they are no longer content with glass beads au lieu de payment.

Besides, you have those very nice Hovercraft and even the Chunnel.

Um, actually, not anymore. Went out of service in the eighties, now we have high speed catamaran water-jet powered ferries.

That would explain why I could use a hovercraft in 1974 and could not find one anymore circa 1995. The water jet thingy is also quite serviceable if not all that impressive looking. My small son was a bit disappointed because all of the people who occupied the seats at the windows only to sleep or read.

I've lived in the U.S. all my life, with a few excursions to other countries here and there. Grew up in the Seattle area, and even lived in <gasp> Redmond for a few years. (shoutout to the fellow in Chewelah, btw).

Now living in Chicago. According to a climatological map I saw recently, the lower Great Lakes area (which includes Chicago) exists in kind of a rare climate type. The only other place with the same climate type is the western half of the Ukraine. /trivia

I'm from Russia. I wasn't sure what to vote for. Wether Europe or Asia. Wikipedia, for example, still not sure about it). Propably it worth to put it as a different variant.
But I vote for Europe, cause I live in a part of Russia that is mostly in Europe.

I don't really think "Latin America" is valid. There's North America, Central America and South America. Latin America is not a place, is a term people use to refer to Central and South America, but, Mexico is in North America, and yet we're Latin Americans....
I just think the use of Latin America could lead to some confusion....

Geographically speaking Central America is part of North not South America. Also, the poll doesn't leave room for people from the Caribbean to vote.
Also keep in mind that technically people from Quebec are in Latin America. :)

Mexican born, living in Canada voted North America.

EDIT: just realized people from the Caribbean would vote North America.

I wasn't really lumping Central America with neither North nor South America; I was trying to make a distinction between the three areas. Also, as you are mexican just as I am, I suppose you are aware that in Mexico, we actually make such distinction, and that we consider ourselves part of North America, not Latin America.
Lastly.... I forgot to vote...
