I know that these forums and the community have a lot of students and teenagers in them, but I was wondering the other day, how many of us are parents?

I am a father to 3 children - Christopher, 10; Samantha, 7; and Caitlin, 4.

None of them live with me anymore as their mother and me broke up a few years back. I am now happily married to someone else, but have no children with her.

You should post a poll.

I have no children, but I have two computers. (Geek here, not so interested in people)

Currently no children but My Wife and I have 4 bunnies. They are like children to us. Also our friends are also like an extension of our families.

You are not sure how many daughters you have?

I don't have any children, btw. And I am quite certain about that.

As far as I know, I just have two boys - 22 and 19. I acknowledge no other claims without a positive DNA test.

Both of those I admit to still live with us despite daily encouragement to do otherwise and to take the dog with them. (Ahhhhhhhh!)

The youngest has just signed up for a year in the army (Woohoo!). I hope to inherit his dual core AMD computer (with Ubuntu). ( That's when he leaves home, not when he gets killed in Iraq/Afganistan/East Timor/Solomon Islands or wherever else my country chooses to play Deputy Sheriff.) I will "swap" my old laptop for it.

The oldest has just talked his way into a job as a graphic artist despite no qualifications or demonstated talent or the slightest clue about anything really. Before that he was an office manager for a coffee company. He runs Windows only (gamer) but has now decided he wants a Mac (he has one at his new work). He is a living testament to the current strength of the Australian job market and the fact that some people have no shame.

I am still with my first wife (but she gets strangely moody when I introduce her as such)
