Im using ubuntu feisty 7.04, when I plugin my headset the music still plays through the built-in speaker. how do I adjust it so the sound pipes through the headset..

please help!

tol, i doubt if its a software issue.
malamang sa connectivity yan inside your system unit.
check manual...

Not sure if this would work. I have an ACER laptop.

Double click the "volume control" icon in your gnome-panel. If you click it you could reduce or increase the sound, but if you double click it you'll open the Volume Control Window.

In the Volume Control Window you'll see two tabs - (1) Playback, and (2) Switches. Click the Switches tab and tick (check) the box beside headphones. Let me know if this works.
