OK-Let me throw this one out to you.

I plan on reconditioning and installing *buntu on used PCs with dial-up modems.
I have Vonage and a cable-modem connection.

Even though it is redundant, can I test a dial up modem connection by plugging into my Vonage phone line?

What do you think?#-o

I have Vonage, I don't see why it wouldn't. You never know though. Can always give it a try.

Check the Vonage website or give them a call to find out. Some phone services like that don't support dial up internet or fax. I have a Time Warner Digital phone and the last time I checked it didn't support that. But who knows if that has changed or will change and Vonage may be ahead of Time Warner in that area.

Yes you can, I did it the other day.

Read my thread about it here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=569018)
