Anyone installed the GNUARM toolchain on Feisty?

I'm trying to use the GNUARM toolchain but no luck either compiling the source or using the precompiled binaries.
Anybody done this before?

The binutils part of the compile went ok, I think, but when I tried to make the gcc part, I got:

arm-elf-ar : Command not found

And no dice for the rest.
Anyone done this before? Am I missing something that needs to be there before I install this?

PS: I did put the correct bin directory in my path....

This might be solved... I did the whole thing as root and I think it went a little better this time.
