View Full Version : Linux mentioned in my BIOS

I stumbled across this in my BIOS. It specifically mentions Linux:) I guess they can't tell me I voided some warranty by installing Linux:p

Just thought I would share. Found it kind of interesting.

Yeah, your BIOS is a gem. Mine doesn't say anything about linux in it. T_T

Good grief I don't think I've ever looked at my machine's BIOS, although I've had to trawl through plenty at work.

Which BIOS and which manufacturer?

It's a Phoenix-Award BIOS. The computer is from HP


Too bad your Linux kernel isn't that old (2.4.x).
