What is the best version of Kubuntu up to now? I tried Kubuntu 6.06, 6.10 and 7.10. I think 6.06 Dapper Drake is the most stable and bugfree.

While I generally would agree that Dapper is more stable, I think the gutsy K release was actually pretty decent. Once you start using dolphin it's a bit hard to stop.

Just wait till Ubuntu 8.04 comes out. Hopefully it will be as stable as version 6.06.

BTW, which will be the next long term support version (if it's known)?

Hey you copied me! (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=585320) but otherwise I can't really say, because I only have tried 7.04 Kubuntu and it wasn't very good. Maybe I should try 7.10

I gotta agree with the dolphin sentiment.
From kubuntu i've only used fiesty before so i couldn't speak of the to others, but definitely prefer gutsy over fiesty.

Kubuntu 7.04 was a little unstable for me as well -- apps crashed somewhat frequently. I have not tried 7.10, though.
