Recently i found a unique screensaver which generates money for charities just by you running it, the following was in the read me file of the screensaver

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Kind Soul,

Thank you for deciding to install this screensaver, this screensaver is capable of generating up to US$1 an hour, depending on your internet connection speed, as it is basically a sponser and web based initiative.

All the revernue generated would be put to good use feeding the world, in terms of providing food for the world's people and their families, thus we urge you to keep this screensaver on as long as possible, as often as possible.

As a sign of appreciation for your efforts, we have included some relaxing music that would play simultaneously with the screensaver, to sooth your nerves and help you along with life.

Yours Sincerely,
People Of Love

i felt that this was a worthy cause, as such i am sending it to as many people as i can, you can download it at anyone of the following web links

No idea how this would work. Care to explain?

Although you have given me a thought for how this could work without being creepy adware, with no real hosting, posted completely off topic by fresh new forum users: A Folding@Home sort of thing tying to a commercial processing farm (without an actual location, since it would be a global operation handled by generous people's spare CPU cycles) whose revenues go straight to charity. Could be interesting ;)
I'm not sure how well it could work in actuality, since the net output for that stuff is probably not fantastic (the main advantage is probably just that it happens continually for a very long time), but it could be an interesting project. There are probably a few businesses out there who would pay for such processing resources.

Edit:
Yep, I realize this is 99.99% likely to be spam. Just making the best of it!
