Hi there,

I would like to contribute by adding the details of my laptop into the Laptop Testing Team section & assist others in making their choice.

It suggests that to contribute, I should be a community member. I checked how to be a member & it says that I can become a member by proving what contributions I have made...

I seem to have encountered a loop here. Maybe I have mis-understood something. :-k

Can anyone clarify how I can contribute?

Many Thanks.

You can contribute any hardware reviews to my site, www.ubuntuhcl.org if you'd like.

Thanks samb0057, I have now done that. :KS

I would still like to know how I contribute to the Laptop testing team page though.

It suggests that to contribute, I should be a community member.

Where exactly? I don't think it means Ubuntu membership (http://www.ubuntu.com/community/processes/newmember).

Do you have a Launchpad (http://launchpad.net) account? If so, you can just log in to the wiki with it and edit the page.

There are many great ways to contibute. This page ( http://www.ubuntu.com/community/participate ) is a good place to start browsing for teams that already exist.

It is easy to make a significant contribution: File meaningful bug reports:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ContributeToUbuntu is also a good document for getting started.
