Anyone know what's going on with this? It sounded to good to be true for the other side involved, then I read down in the article:

"Among other reversals, Microsoft will make available to open-source software developers information they need so their programs work smoothly with Microsoft's Windows operating system for personal computers."

which to me sounds odd. I guess I'll wait and see what develops, but it sounds like a balloon statement, with no merit. Just a little too much.

Kind of hard to believe they are serious about it, when at the same time they refused to license audio and video codecs to Red Hat.
