I have an image with a transparent background. I thought the red looked good, but if you think the normal blue looked better, then make it with the blue. I'm good, wither way.

Whaddya think?

I'll have to bone up on the GIMP. Perhaps someone can drop me a hint on how to do it.

I like the blue, it contrasts the other colors well.

Further update....The "blue" version was selected as the official logo for the team at the Oct 23rd IRC meeting and has been placed on the Launchpad page....All team members are welcome to use the logo!!!

I too like the blue. I was wondering if anyone here had skills at making SVGs who could make a vector version? Just a thought... I have no pressing need myself. But in the future the logo may be used for many purposes for which the original resolution of the PNG won't do. Bitmaps don't scale well.

All and all though, I must say, Very Nice!
