Is there anywhere to download all of the previously released official wallpapers? I looked through the forums and in Google images, but could not find many of them. I'm not even sure what the early ones looked like. A gallery page featuring all the previously released wallpapers would be very nice, or just including them all in future releases.

Also, I found a link to art.ubuntu.com which appears to be dead.In fact, a few of the links in the sticky above appear to be dead: http://ubuntuforums.org/gallery just takes me back to the main forums page.

Lastly, from searching through Google, can someone explain to me why some people feel to slap an Ubuntu logo on an image of a scantily clad woman and call it Ubuntu wallpaper? This is a rhetorical question of course, but still...

that is why i cant google ubuntu images in school, really annoying. Who is doing that.

There are packages in the repos for some of them.

It appears links have changed.

http://ubuntuforums.org/g/ is the new link for the gallery.

I gathered a few of the old wallpapers. I tried to organize them in the right version folders. I'll see about putting an archive up. I'll paste the link here when I do have something done.

EDIT: Note that the wallpapers in the folders may be wrong. The archive comes without any guarantee of completeness or usability. :lolflag:
