how abount placing adsense in ubuntu to get some $ to the community and hire better servers ( to avoid cluttering when launching new editions)? :)

I know what Google adsense is. I just don't get what he means. Put it in Ubuntu itself? On their website?

i figured he meant the forums. either way, i don't think it's a good idea. if i had to, i'd rather wait a few days or a week to get the new version.

I like how the ubuntu home page is not cluttered with ads. For ten our of twelve months of the year the ubuntu servers have always been very fast for me, so I kind of don't think it's a problem.

That's because Ubuntu is still riding on some hundreds of millions of dollars, but it will run out eventually.

yup, thats right.. we have toi think about the community`s future :)

adsense does not clutter anything at all.. you would not even notice them
