Hello all

Just wanted to announce a new open source project, since it is developed in our favorite distribution :)

Indywikia is a gui application that aims to explore different ways of browsing the wikipedia universe.
When we search for a term, we get back it's images, plus images of related articles (or actually articles that are linked/found on that page). Thus we might get some interesting results, that help us browse our articles on a different way, or get a quick idea on something we are looking for, rather than having to read through pages and pages of text. Article's text by the way is still available to read.

You might want to check some screenshots that are on the project's main page. You might also want to download the source, and get the thing running. In this case, you have to install python-qt4, apt-get install python-qt4 will take care of everything (on ubuntu/debian).

You are all very welcome to contribute to the project!
